Girls on Quads

The next day the girls went on a quad ride with their daddy's. They rode almost 40 miles and went to almost 10,000 feet. It is great to be able to do this just 15 minutes from our house. These are two dad's who didn't get their boys, yet their girls don't hold back they are game for anything. Needless to say they were very dirty when they got back, especially my niece Payton because she had to ride in the back. She had the perfect racoon eyes when she got off. Shane and my brother had just as much fun with their girls on their quads.

Keri's Family Came to Visit

Right after Valerie and her family left my family arrived for four days. My brother, his wife and two girls, Payton and Riley came to visit. We were very busy. We went to Mammoth for the day for some cooler air and were actually chilly with seatshirts on, oh was it nice. We went fishing with four girls and two guys while my sister in law, Nancy, Sophie and myself watched. All that work and not one bite, but most important we had fun.

This is my brother with all of the girls, if Shane could only get everyone to look at the camera it would be nice. After fishing we went to the top of Twin Lake Falls, what a view.

We took the girls to the park so they could let out there energy. After that we took a ride on the trolly and then went to dinner. Cayley and Sadie were so glad to be able to go and do something with their cousins since they don't live close to us. These four look so innocent until they get together then watch out. We are keeping Sophie away from them as long as we can so they don't teach her the little tricks these girls know. We now have 5 girls on my side of the family (Sophie was asleep in the stroller) and it looks like there will not be any boys to join them. There daddy's will have to deal with the boyfriends to all 5 of them, can't wait:)

Visit from Alexander's

At the end of July we had a nice visit from my friend Valerie and her three kids, two of which happen to be Cayley and Sadie's best friends. Cayley was so excited to see Shayla she couldn't stand it. I had to listen to how much longer for the whole week before. Sadie wanted to know how many sleeps she had to do before Noah was coming. It was a nice visit, we went to the park and had a picnic and then headed to the city pool where the kids went off the diving board and the big slide. They were really worn out after that. Cayley and Sadie really miss them since we moved to Bishop.

Sophie is 4 Months

Wow is time going by fast. We cannot believe that our Sophie is already 4 months old. She always has a smile on her face. If she doesn't we know something is bothering her. She is very strong and loves for stand up when her sisters hold her. She is drooling all over everything, alittle to early for teeth, but sure drools like they are coming. Her sisters get all weird about it, I tell them it is just love juice and they are okay with that. She is very interested in what is going on all of the time. Her sisters love on her all of the time. They constantly want to hold her and do things for her. They are a hugh help, so much that Shane hasn't even changed a diaper. She rolled over from her back to her stomach last week and surprised us all.
